GOLF STRETCHES |
Low Back stretch Feet flat, keep apart with toes out. It's easier to balance on a downhill incline or with your back against a wall. |
Torso Twist Shoulders level, twist torso so lower body mimics golf swing. |
Trunk Tilt Feet planted, knees slightly bent, side bend torso to left, reach up with right arm. Repeat to the right. |
Upper Back stretch Bend from hips, knees slightly bent and relax the lower back. BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE OR HAVE HAD BACK PAIN |
Leg and Calf stretch Feet flat and toes pointing straight ahead, keep heel of back leg on the ground and feel a stretch in the back of your calf. |
Forearm stretch With elbow straight, gently flex wrist down by applying pressure to the back of the hand. Feel the stretch in the muscles of the forearm and maybe the back of the hand. |
